About

PlayableMe

Character creators are the best part of an RPG and the most frustrating. You know the face you want. Twenty minutes later you have a stranger.

PlayableMe closes that gap by treating it as a measurement problem rather than an art problem. We capture tens of thousands of labelled renders from a game's own character creator, learn how each parameter moves the face, then solve backwards from your photo to the settings that land closest in the game.

What it does not do

It reads bone structure — the proportions a face-recognition model can actually see. We choose not to read hair, skin tone, eye colour, scars or makeup. Every game page names exactly which parameters are matched.

Your photo

Photos are analysed in memory and never stored, logged or used for training. That is a built-in property — there is no code path that writes one to disk. Read the policy.

Where it is

PlayableMe is free while in launch. Adding a game means building a capture rig for that game's creator, so the supported list grows slowly, but surely. If it has saved you an evening, there is a tip jar on Ko-fi — it unlocks nothing, and it keeps the free tier free.
